Maldaba announced in cohort 2 of Digital Health.London Accelerator

Maldaba are delighted to announce we are now part of the Digital Health.London Accelerator. We are one of the companies in cohort 2 of the Accelerator, which was announced on September the 7th, 2017.
Maldaba were selected as one of the successful 30 out of 127 applications, because of our project My Health Guide, providing service change and digital technology to empower people with learning disabilities to be more in control of their healthcare.

Clear Communication with App for Adults with Learning Disabilities

Adults living with learning disabilities from the Humber and East Riding region will be the first in the UK to trial a new app that aims to improve their quality of life and health outcomes by helping them to communicate more effectively.
Two hundred patients from Humber NHS Foundation Trust’s Learning Disability service will be taking part in the trial of the ‘My Health Guide’ app, designed and developed by UK software firm Maldaba Ltd and inspired by the heartwarming story of “Matthew’s Book”.

World first in sexual health as ‘My Contraception Tool’ launched

Sexual health charities Brook and FPA today launched My Contraception Tool (v1.0) a unique, evidence-based web tool designed to support people’s contraceptive choices by evaluating their preferences and priorities as well as their physical needs. This new web tool is expected to fundamentally change contraceptive consultations – empowering people’s choice and giving invaluable support to busy health professionals.
